Wednesday's event is the sixth of eight McCain Track & Field Roadshows running this summer up and down the country (there will be another in Newcastle on 15th August and the final event in Cardiff on 22nd August). McCain Track & Field Roadshows give everyone the opportunity to give athletics a go in a fun and relaxed environment. Based in a huge inflatable pod erected in city centres, activities available to try out on the day include testing reaction and strength as well as jumping, throwing and sprinting exercises, with the support of Team GB and UK Athletics coaches.
